Empowering Future Changemakers
A 10‑week immersive minor (15 ECTS) led by Dr. Ginie Servant‑Miklos at Erasmus University Rotterdam, designed for students who want to make education a powerful force for social and ecological change. It’s open to learners from any discipline and requires no prior teaching experience.
Holostic Learning through Three Tracks:
• Education Track
Explore innovative and embodied teaching methods such as problem-based learning, jigsawing, implosion, serious gaming (including the climate game COLLAPSE), and more. Guided by interdisciplinary theories—from existentialism and psychoanalysis to critical pedagogy—this track equips you to design your own transformative learning materials.
• Project Track
Collaborate on a real-world educational intervention: identify a pressing problem within primary, secondary, or higher education, devise a research plan, and prototype an educational experiment tailored to your context.
• Reflection Track
Deepen your learning through structured reflection: engage in intake interviews, keep three reflection diaries, join group and individual reflection workshops, and culminate your journey with a thoughtful reflection paper.
